I feel the same way because it's waaaaay to easy to do (only did it on canvas), but with graffiti it requires skills. Even tagging and constantly writing your name over and over and perfecting your handstyle. Graffiti is still out there but i find the wheatpasting lacks that extra oomph . It could be creative though if they try mixing the two , but whenever i see it its one or the other.

Eh most of them are trying to jump on that Banksy steez which is kinda lame. Last year when he was NYC these fukkers were coming in droves to East New York and the South Bronx just to take a damn picture. It was crazy.

The BQE is littered with so much cornball fukk boy fake graffiti. At times you'll even notice paid billboards along the highway that are masquerading as real street art when these posers know damn well they gave CBS or whoever some money to put it up. Theres no fukking way a company that owns billboards over major highways will just allow some street "artists" to tag all over a 50 ft billboard and just leave it there for months.

NY is the worlds capital for bullshyt artists (music, "fine" art, graf, jewelry, poetry, books) to the point where you will find clusters of these motherfukkas around each other. And its separated in 2 ways: the broke ones and the CACs who use the broke "look" but somehow make it back home to Ohio or Montana every so often to see their families. Miss me with this new age Basquiat/Warhol bullshyt. These same cats would be the ones hovering all over 5 Pointz but would cry like babies if they had a chance to sneak into a train yard and do an official throw up on a train.

Sat-One is my dude he was heavy in these Philly streets back in the day he's a DJ now ...actually Djing a party i got coming up...

but anyways i respect it especially in Philly we have the most murals of any city in the country
