I want an old school joint from my birth year (1986) but I haven't found one I'm feeling yet

i never thought about doing that
i collected coins and bills with my birth year, but i never thought about spinning that into owning a car

Just reading the title to this thread automatically made this song start playing in my mind:

I don't have a picture of the car, but I would love a '69 Camaro SS, all black. Cars was my "thing" with my father. He always had either a Corvette or Camaro, and he would take me racing with him.

I loved those days just cruising and talking, listening to music. Sitting out on a hot Summer day at the drag strip with a cold drink and just making bets next to my father are some of my greatest memories with him. He's been gone nearly a year, but he was a great man! I never will get to buy him the Vette I always promised him (he sold the one he had at the time I was born prematurely, to help pay for my medical bills and he wanted a family vehicle) but I will buy myself one and drive it in his memory.

Nice thread, OP!

If everything goes right, I can have something close to this in about 4 years. I know everyone jocks the 64s, but the 62s are just colder to me.

Everyone thinks that the other Impalas are ugly from that era.... I tend to agree, but it's not my dream, so I hope you get it!

The cars that have been posted on here are generally going to be hard to find, even in working condition, because they are the baddest old schools.

I love it though! Keep posting!

You killing me with the MC Hammer dancing gif!

The only way I could tell what car you posted is because of the taillights. Chevrolet stopped doing round taillights in 66. This Impala has the same front end as the 67 I used to own and a similar, but different rear end. 67 Impalas have squared taillights.

That candy red is SEX!
