Yall nikkas always tryna spread yall lil agendas subtly . There would be zero difference in his popularity now as it was then because the nikka still woulda been 3peating averaging 31 ppg for his career.

you would like to think so

but it's not just about what is done on the court

playing now he wouldn't be deified

like i said this is the hater era

the media back then protected the athletes image now they are all about exposures

No it wouldn't. It'd be constant headlines of "is Jordan driving the team apart" and "is there unease in the bulls locker room" and "is Pippen being driven away by Jordan"

Then the players would see these headlines nonstop and then shyt would have an impact. You saying it wouldn't is disingenuous.

I respect that, but I also respect bill cartwright for threatening his ass by telling him he’ll break his legs... those was the last comments said about gangsta bill

I thought that was Robert Parish in 96 who pulled MJ's card

Parish played his final season with the 1996-'97 Chicago Bulls, who of course starred Michael Jordan. During one practice, an argument between the two Hall of Famers included Jordan saying he would kick Parish's butt and Parish standing his ground.

"Michael has a tendency to test his teammates, especially the new faces on the team," Parish explained. "And I think it was more of a test than a threat. He was just testing my reaction to his being a bully. And so I didn't back down. He said he'd kick my butt, and I told him if he feels that strongly about it, come and get some. And that was the end of it. We didn't have another confrontation if you will. And it was just a test. At least I didn't read anything into it. I think it was just a test to see how I would respond."

fukk it. cost of playing with GOAT. Anyone who played HS or college sports knows coaches have no issues talking that kinda shyt to players.

Bron is too p*ssy to be that directly confrontational, he'd rather send subliminal tweets and quotes to the press.

The reason why he's getting side eyed for shyt like this more so than how he used to treat Mario Chalmers is because this is weak, passive aggressive shyt. Him barking on Rio just made him look like he was passionate about winning and wanted to set his "little brother" straight.

There would be some people being super sensitive about it, but there would also be a large portion of people who actually would respect Lebron if there were more stories of him doing/saying shyt like that as opposed to crypic tweets and post game subliminals.
