The survey, carried out by Harvard Medical School, also found that when men realised their wife was angry, the women reported being happier, although the men were not.
It revealed women most likely enjoyed spotting when their partner was dissatisfied because it showed his strong “engagement” or “investment” in their time together.
Dr Shiri Cohen, the study’s lead author, said: “It could be that for women, seeing that their male partner is upset reflects some degree of the man's investment and emotional engagement in the relationship, even during difficult times.
“This is consistent with what is known about the dissatisfaction women often experience when their male partner becomes emotionally withdrawn and disengaged in response to conflict.”

Update!

So, after my girl postponed their visit 2 days after my birthday, the guests came, monday afternoon. Whoop dee doo! Age difference really shows in situations like these. Fun times.

Then, I get EVEN better news. They ain't packin up today like I thought (first thing I've heard on this matter was "they are stayin overnight")...

They ain't packin tomorrow morning (I had that as Plan B)

But I planned the revenge. In about one month time, Imma call up her mom and say

"oh...by the way, my cousin and her muslim boyfriend told me something bout how they wanna come down around your way, some vacation shyt, they get moving tomorrow ... but they wont stay long or nothing, only 3 days".

I've learned, if you're in a relationship with a woman, theres always gonna be one family member who causes headaches in some form or fashion, whether it be inviting themselves over often or just plain ol meddling in your relationship. Just the way it is. Best case scenario, they're out of town and you don't gotta deal with it on the regular.
