There is a difference in flopping and "selling" the call. Kobe has never been a flopper (too much pride to seem weak ie. when Raja clotheslined him, Kobe popped up and smiled). One more thing, Lebron doesnt flop:mjpls: well okay, perhaps I went a little too far.

Refs just have to stop calling it, I don't see why there are fines.

D Wade is :whoa::wtf::pacspit::birdman:

Here's the thing about flopping...I think almost every fan HATES it.

The Celtics don't really do much 'classic' flopping, but it goes beyond just flopping too.

Like, when I see Paul Pierce flail and scream 'ARRRRGH!!!" when trying to get into the paint and he, say, gets stripped cleanly and the play goes the other way, instead of trailing the play, he falls, lays on the court and looks at the refs with his hands up while everyone else is trying to stop his turnover from turning into a 3 point play, it drives me mental.

An he's one of my favorite players on my favorite team.

These other dudes pretending they got shot in the head with a Potato gun at close range when the guy whose guarding them/there guarding even makes a motion that could come near them that they think they could pretend they got hurt with are on another level and ruin the game.

This is the only way they could address it properly. These dudes are TRULY going to think twice because their doing it AFTER the games in review. If they tried this in game, they'd still do it and make the ref try and call it.

They KNOW if they pull this shyt its getting reviewed afterwards and someones gonna take money out of their game checks every time.

it was the game inside the game. THings like this, shirt pulling, toe stomping, rib tickling, sternum poking, etc, etc were all parts of the game within the game. Those good at it eat off of it, those bad at it get techs and ejections.

Personally it's a part of basketball and there should have been something directed at the refs to not call flops vs trying to fine people.

It was superstar advantageous though. Kobe or Lebron missed? WTF someone must have hit them *whistle*.

Kobe looks upset *whistle*

And yet they'll allow the flagrant traveling and carrying? :childplease:

:heh:

And :snoop: Jared Dudley for going at Kobe and LeBron james

But he's right . Lebron / wade/ bosh / harden / Manu/ cp3 / Blake should be realistically get suspended and alot of fines . Kobe exaggerates idk he flops that much but if he does he too should get suspended and fined . Ill find it hard to believe if none of the players I mentioned don't get suspended without changing the way they play . If I'm a Lower ecechlon player and I keep getting fined while lebron acting like he's in the beach scene of saving private Ryan rolling on the floor it's a problem

typical NBA. finding any way to eat off the players. Instead of giving 1 game suspensions with 2 violations, they want the players to pay them. They aren't implementing this rule for the integrity of the game, just another ploy to get money in their wallets. If I was a mid level player, I'll rather take the suspension than having to pay 15k. fugg that.

:aicmon:@James Harden

lol @ Caron Butler and Del Negro telling themselves that Flop City doesn't flop.

I wanne see CP3 comments :russ:
he's too devastated to comment. He's still recovering after hearing the rules.:wow:

The more I think about it this rule is nearly complete bullshyt. Well, maybe not the actual rule, but the penalties/punishments going with it. This is just another way for the NBA to take money back from players, smh.

And even with replays a lot of these flops are too subjective to be given penalties for anyway, except the clear and blatant ones.

Weak ass Players Association. If I was a player I'd be throwing hands at Billy Hunter the first time I got fined for this shyt.
