You guys are always posting clown shyt from Evangelical Christian sites bashing Islam. LOL seriously they're citing the Hadith and Sunnah as their source and saying it's Islam. The Qur'an is the book of Islam, the rest is bullshyt cultural shyt. So don't blame Islam blame backwards culture. The Sunnah and Hadith are not the words and actions of Muhammed they are pure bullshyt and conjecture. They were written long after he was dead by people who never met him and he objected to the creation of any Hadith of any kind as does the Quran.

You might be able to fool non-muslims unfamiliar with Islam but you can't fool me with this bull shyt. There are many core tenants of what we know as Islam (that almost all muslims follow) that comes solely from the hadith/sunnah. First, the most visible aspect of Islam is the western world is the Hijab (or head cover). That requirement only exists in the hadith and NOT in the Quran. Yet almost all muslims follow it. Second, the requirement that muslims pray 5 times a day. That only exists in the hadith. The Quran only says to pray in the morning, noon, and night. The 5 times a day as well as what to do when praying and how to pray comes solely from the hadith.

Also, I find it funny that you are willing to throw aside all the hadith simply because it was written after Muhammad's death when the Quran (as we know it today) was itself put together and canonized after the Prophets death. Given your skepticism of the hadith you should be equally skeptical of everything in the Quran considering that there are no copies of the Quran from the Prophet's time available to compare with. As a result, there is no guarantee that what you read today is anything like what actually came out of his mouth. Remember that for much of the early period, the Quran was totally oral because that was the culture back then. The Quran as you know it today was compiled and put together years after the Prophet's death.

You can't selective choose to give some parts of the hadith credibility while saying other parts aren't. Just because some aspects of the religion are now considered embarrassing doesn't mean you can selective exclude the parts you don't like and keep the part you do. Remember this is a tactic that Christians regularly use when they find certain parts of the old or new testament unappealing in our modern culture.

Instead of putting yourself into loops trying to deny parts of the religion, just do what I did......REJECT IT ALL. Islam like every other religion is obviously a farce and man made. Parts of the hadith like the ones you have a problem with that denote Muhammad's sexual escapades after he got power just highlights how the religion is man made. Sure the Quran was put together after Muhammed's death but the quran was something that everyone memorized because during that time everything was passed down orally and remained the same. Even if there's no garuantee it' called faith for a reason.

I dont' selectively choose parts of the Hadith and that's the whole point . I DONT USE HADITH because it's flawed...so none of it can be looked at as viable. Most of that stuff is an attempt to inject cultural paganistic rituals and customs back into socities that were reformed because of islam.

Hadith isn't my book and not my religion so why would I be embarrassed by it? It's more embarrassing that people would never read their own holy book and rather have people read it for them and tell them what it means. Btw passing down something orally is actually a great way to keep it intact you should do some research on that and other cultures that have done it and managed to preserve every important detail of what they were trying to transmit.

My skepticism of Hadith is for many reasons. You should also do research on just how hadith are compiled. The Hadith you see come from many sources and out of those that are held as true only less than 10% are used. Many hadith contradict one another while others can link back to pagan traditions. So it's basically a way to corrupt Islam from the outside since it cannot be done via adding to the Qur'an (which was protected by oral transmission)

I know it's cool to hate arabs and Islam these days but you guys gotta get a grip and get your facts straight. Read the damn Quran before you start dissing 2 billion people 2/3 of which are not even Arabs... Yes Arabs do some questionable shyt, yes a lot of the shyt they do is backwards ... but that's mostly due to die hard customs that some of them just don't want to give up and they will ultimately pay the price for that.

There a bunch of Muslim countries, which have you lived in? It is not PURE HELL for women in the majority of those countries shyt is a farce. The ones was that are hell for women are usually those that have been destabilized and in a state of chaos and/or Saudi Arabia. Granted some things can happen to women in even some of the stable countries that wouldn't happen here but it's rare. You can look up the stats yourself.
