i don't know about that. romney is a very good debater. it will depend on the moderator imo.
he didn't impress me during the primary. Plus Obama just has so much ammunition to work with. They could spend an entire debate on Romney's inconsistencies. Also when he is forced to go into the specifics of his plan:mygod:

of course you can, but that's not how debates work. moderator will try to be as fair as possible, splitting up the interrogations 50/50. if the moderator is a pushover like david gregory was in that interview then romney will be fine. romney is very adept when he stays above the surface, it's when he's questioned repeatedly to explain further on his views that he gets knocked off his gameplan and says something stupid.

Romney is uptight and swagless in debates. That's superficial, but means a lot to voters...ask Al Gore.
Obama beats him on both style and substance. He is a cool, accomplished debater and has a TON of ammunition.
-Flip-flopping on healthcare and abortion and everything else.
-Dissing the ACA when it's modeled after what he did in MA.
-The $500 tax increase on the middle class in his budget proposal.
-Promising to repeal financial reform.
-Keeping his tax returns secret.
-Having offshore bank accounts.
-Leveraged buyout at Bain.
-Having no foreign policy credentials and having a bunch of neocons as advisors.
-The Ryan plan.
-His "Let Detroit go bankrupt" op-ed.
It's going to be hard to even fit in all the potential hits at his vulnerabilities.
