no where in my post did I tell anyone not to analyze things or to think critically 
And yes this is the safest period in human history. From the general standard of living to the decreased amount wars in comparison to the past. Yeah humanity has more dangerous technology than we did in the past but there are plenty of stop gaps in place to prevent atrocities that occurred in the past. Things arent perfect by any standard of measure but were in a far better than humanity previously was by a long mile.
