Nah. Major military conflicts are a thing of the past. Nuclear weapons are too big of a deterrent, plus too many people are making too much money. There's too much to lose and not enough to gain. At least for major powers, barring some kind of environmental calamity or extreme oil shortage.

The refugee crisis on the other hand is going to be intense, especially in Europe. Expect more fascist parties to gain power. They've already taken Poland and Hungary. Italy and Greece are losing their tolerance of immigrants. Germany is teetering. I don't know how liberalism will fare after the departure of Merkel. Brexit will be a MOTHERfukkER. The EU may not survive. I think America will survive, especially if Trump is not reelected. The right will bytch and moan for a year or so, then get over it. Like a lot of other places, they have too much to lose by instigating real conflict. They're too comfortable

I am very sorry if what I say comes off as that...as you know I am anti white supremacy, racism, and inequality.

But i remember making a thread on August 15th, 2016 cause I had a bad feelinfg America was going to go far right and Trump would be elected President.

I was hoping Hillary would become President. Unfortunately the worst happened.

Maybe I pay too much attention to the news...but in a post Trump, Brexit world where legit fascists are being elected to office in Brazil, Germany, The Phillipines, and far right political parties are starting to rise in Europe that run on anti-immigrant sentiments, when hate crimes are rising in America and abroad, where anti-semetism is rising, and politicians are exploiting the anxieties created by demographic shifts what else can you expect?

I dont want the world to go this way but unfortunately thats not how life works. I dont want futuee generations to go through this...nobody wants this. What we're saying is due to some unfortunate trends taking place on a global scale to be wary.

And TBH please do not take any offense to thia cause I consider you a great poster and mod...but we really need to move from calling people "agents", "c00ns", "cacs","nazis", "incels", and other disparaging terms just because we have a difference of opinion or they say something you don't like.
