I believe it. I think San Francisco is a microcosm of what all of America will be like soon with the growing wealth gap. Average 1 bedroom rent of $3500, average home price like $1.3 million. You're either poor or rich, not much in between.

I think as a result of a harder to ignore wealth gap, we will see a major swing to Bernie Sanders type of leftists. Well, we're already seeing that now to an extent, but I think it will be more pronounced as reality sets in that it's gotten too hard for the common man to prosper and the American Dream is dead.

Billionaires have started talking about it too, they're afraid the masses will start coming for their neck very soon as people wake up to how rigged the game is for the rich. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some UBI implemented to calm down the masses, but it will be a little crumb amount of like $500/month, not enough to live on.

This...I actually think the world is going to look a lot like the world of Ready Player One.

I don't think there's going to be a world war. The elites like where we're at and unless we have a famine, major terrorist attack, meteorite hit, society is just going to progress on a slow downward slide into neo-fuedalism.
