No. Egypt's word for home/birthplace is Ka. Everyone in the mediterranean and middle east used Egypts word for birthplace to identify the continent. The egyptians were writing thousands of years before the Romans and had conquered the mediterranean centuries prior. It was always Ka even after the Greek and Romans surpassed them 3,000 yrs later.
