There are J.Cole fans that had a problem with "Cole World"

I had it as my 3rd favorite album last year(behind Take Care and WTT)

He pretty much did him on the album, also had 2 hit singles which expanded his fan base.

I know us Cole Fans whole "The Warm up' and FNL in high regard, but Cole World was a great Debut.

Thought the album was great. Pretty much what I expected, nikkas will hate on damn near everything that doesn't fit their own personal "vision" of what the artist should be/do. It wasn't a classic but it was a solid 4 mic debut album, it's my 4th or 5th favorite album of a VERY strong 2011, and still gets spins from me occassionally...

everything on the album sounds exactly like something that couldve been on those mixtapes they worship (minus 2 or 3 songs)...it was good overall

On topic, I liked Cole World just fine, though I prefer all 3 mixtapes he dropped before it.

I was a fan immediately after The Warm Up dropped, but between then and Cole World it tapered off...

and hearing Cole World did little to make me super hype over the nikka again. Won't deny it's solid but it's also kind of boring. I bump it from time to time, but that's it. Never will say dude isn't talented though.

Too many relationship songs.

At times production sounded flimsy.

The length could have been condensed.
