I ain't mad if Ray leaves. Let's not act like the Heat didn't win the title last year without him, and let's not act like his ridiculous attempts at dribble penetration didn't hurt the team.

Yes, he was clutch when it most mattered, but he was trash for a while and brought the team down more often than he helped them. I certainly would rather have him than not have him, but One Nike Mike getting his minutes wouldn't bother me at all.

EDIT: 500 posts finally...nice. Can give rep now.

This was the first year with Allen in the Heat system. He would be much better next year with the way he prepares. I still don't think Spo is using him correctly. He should be taking the majority of his 3-pointers from the corners like he did in Boston. They did that early in the Season and he won them a couple of games.

You can't be serious.

Did you not just see them run through the west in these playoffs? They just went 12-2!

James’ 37 points were the most in a Game 7 of the Finals since Jerry West’s 42 against the Celtics in 1969. … Spoelstra, who has a 50-29 career playoff record, tied Phil Jackson for most wins (46) over any three-year playoff stretch. Keep in mind the NBA went to a best-of-7 first-round series in 2003. …

Miami’s 91 made free throws were the fewest ever in any seven-game playoff series. … The Heat joined the Los Angeles/Minneapolis Lakers, Chicago, Boston, Detroit and Houston as the only franchises in NBA history to win back-to-back championships .
