Great all around game tonight. Obviously Bron and Wade played well, but Bosh was great on both ends, and Allen's scoring punch off the bench was huge too.
I think Spo needs to keep Miller in the starting lineup for the rest of the series. He didn't do all that much, but just him being out there made the spacing WAY better and opened up driving lines and allowed Bron to operate in the post without the Spurs being able to bring the hard double off of Haslem's man to get the ball out of Bron's hands.
No one really talked about it during the game, but I think there was a similar strategy behind Birdman not playing as well. He's a solid finisher, but him being in the game means the Spurs can keep one big in the paint at all times because it's not like Bird is gonna step out and make you pay by hitting a jumper.
I don't know why it took Spo this long to go small. It was fairly obvious from the start, especially because you can afford to throw someone on Splitter without fear that he's gonna have a huge mismatch and drop buckets.
Also hated that we were going over the screen on Parker's pick and rolls in the first half. Led to him getting into the paint at will. Finally started to blitz him in the 2nd half and get the ball out of his hands, similar to what we did in Game 2. I swear Spo forgets what has worked for him sometimes, he'll go away from it for no reason. Ex: Why don't we see more plays with Lebron being the screener in the PnR after it led to a bunch of baskets in the paint for Rio in Game 2?
