I spent last night scouting Loyola Chicago.
The GOOD:
They play an almost erratic fast tempo style.
With Custer & Richardson. They rely heavy on the 3 point shot and make a lot. It also seems all 5 guys are a scoring threat, no decoys.
They definitely make people play their game as opposed to the one you are trying to play.
The Bad And Outcome:
They don't have a lot of height. And they don't rebound the ball well after misses. They also turn the ball over a lot. UM gets a lot of points off turnovers.
The four teams they have played so far do not have the defensive efficiency that Michigan has. Mathews, Wagner, MAAR, Robinson are all capable of taking the game over.
I've seen Michigan play tough ground it out games when the three point shot isnt there. L.C. can't do that.
First half may be exciting but it's important both teams get off to a good start. I think will Michigan pull away in 2nd half and breaks their will but L.C. is legit.
