UMBC actually wins this handily if they could just make some of the open shots that maura constantly created

And lost to conference rival Albany by over 40 before the tournament

seeing so much zone reminds me why i dont watch during the regular season
they wasted too many possessions. they shouldve seized the game when k state didnt score for like 5 or 7 minutes

Basketball is a lot of rhythm, timing, and pattern recognition and when a team does something way out of the ordinary it’s not easy to just flip a switch if you haven’t been practicing against that style before.
West Virginia does the same thing with their bullshyt full court pressing the whole game
