Yea that doesn’t sound right at all. It’s so frustrating that you help is dictated by random people and if you have a bad one you are SOL. You have to say your areas and list everything you lost. I had to go to each living area. Smh. I’m glad you are appealing with the paperwork.

When they came to the house the didn't have my application on file for some strange ass reason. They wouldn't even look in my room. I had to wait 2 weeks later to get an inspection in my room only to be deemed ineligible a week later.

I put in my appeal yesterday with a notarized letter & my leasing agreement. Plus I sent copies of all my money order receipts as well too

Apartment got water damage cuz some of the roof had leaks and leaked big time cuz my apartment complex sucks but my car is fine.

Just finished relocating my stuff that wasn’t damaged to a new spot

I should of gotten renters insurance

Update 10/10/17:

It'll run from now until Sept. 30th. Like @#1 pick suggested we'll get a list of posters in SE Texas that need help & once we meet their needs we'll send the rest to S.H.A.P.E. Community Center . Let get it!

Thanks to all who helped! We gave 1,000 dollars to coli members effected by Harvey and we gave over 1,400 dollars to SHAPE! This wouldn't be possible without our coli family, thank you all.

Everything seems back to normal but there are still people who aren’t back home.l, me included. I’m really really thankful y’all and also happy for SHAPE. They are a really great organization and have been in the community for years and still helping families right now for Harvey.

@#1 pick thank for even thinking to do this and organizing it. @Brooklynzson for facilitating it. You guys didn’t have to.

Normal in terms of roads being fixed, yes but for those that have been displaced, it's anything but normal even to this day
