In Detroit bus rides are freeand not spend
If it wasn’t my mom and nephews birthday my wallet would have shut

I don’t know whyI'm confused why everyone is complaining about the $19.99 for a rental of new releases?
How much are movie tickets in your city?
Out here in LA, I go to the Arclight and Alamo Drafthouse. Tickets are $18-20 bucks.
This is the same price and doesn't include parking and concessions.
It costs $13 (on average) to see a movie in a movie theater that isn't a matinee showing and for 3-D it's even more.19.99 for one person is insane. It only benefits couples and families.
I agree. I think the switch is going to be that the big tentpole franchise movies like Fast & Furious, Marvel type ones will still get the full theater release but smaller films will more likely go the direct to streaming route.Nah. You think Disney/Pixar is gonna give them new releases 2 weeks after they hit theaters in a non-COVID world? Cmon lol
None of this shyt is predictive of the future. It could speed up the digital releases of smaller movies like The Hunt or Emma, but I don't see the major studios giving this plan any boost.

I don’t know why
Every way I see it $20 is a steal
Yeah my tv isn’t huge but I’d do this every time

Watch in-theater movies at home for $19.99 (rental). Sure the library is limited right now to current films blocked by coronavirus, but ones with upcoming releases will likely start popping up too as time goes by.
Theater Owners Chief to Congress: Pass Coronavirus Rescue Bill or We Go Bankrupt
Theaters don't have enough cash reserves to survive this closure period and are looking to Congress to bail them out
