Based on this post i think you need to be out of your mind to enjoy this release, friend? :ld: ???

:devil::devil::devil::devil:

this is probably the most demonic and hedonistic music (that isn't literally worshiping satan) with a lot of subtext hinting towards very universal and ageless issues about being a human. I see a lot of classic tragedy motifs throughout his work. I don't want to over analyze shyt on the internet but it's shyt you wouldn't like. It's demonic music for demons, demons. Friends be wary.

You are a friend because you help get to the nitty gritty so friends can understand whats really going on with these releases. I'll stay away from it. To be honest all i listened to was the vocal arrangements and the beats because i couldnt really understand what in the world this young man was saying. Good to know, its so demonic, friend.

really feelin the remaster after extensive listening :gladbron: only tracks that are better in their original form are What You Need and The Birds pt 2. Outside and Thursday (during the hook) also sounds a bit weird now.

And not sure how I feel about Gone yet. The bass in the remaster is  in the whip tho :whew: But thats my fav weeknd track, dont like them fukkin with it :birdman:

How much different are these tracks from the original versions? Are these remastered tracks worth an iTunes cop?

Bought a copy today, loved the casing and artwork books, the dates on the back were a nice touch too.

Interested to see if it charts over here, doesn't matter either way.

Trilogy on pace to sell 95-105k.

This nikka does next to no press and has no buzzin' single on billboard :wow:

Syco/Columbia's Young Guns On Track for Golden Bow; We Also Forecast The Weeknd, Twilight, Xtina, More

November 14, 2012

It's beginning to feel a lot like the holidays, and not just because we're already plowed on eggnog.

Syco/Columbia's One Direction is expected to sell a teenage riot of 525-575k on their way to #1 this week, and while nothing else in the current crop of debuts will put up numbers like that, they're all likely to end up under the tree, in the stocking or appended to a mesh bag of Chanukah gelt.

The Weeknd from XO/Republic is on track to move 95-105k; the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2 ST from Chop Shop/Atlantic should bite off 85-90k; and the latest from RCA diva and The Voice star Christina Aguilera is set to rack up 75-80k.

Returning rockers Soundgarden will scare up 70-75k with their Seven Four/Republic comeback disc, while Interscope's Lana Del Rey is set for 65-70k with her EP. Dos, the second album in Green Day's trilogy (Warner Bros.), will break off 65-70k.

What else? Reprise's Deftones will crank up 60-65k; Syco/Columbia vocalist Susan Boyle is expected to do 35-40k; a set from the late Whitney Houston (RCA) should move similar numbers; The Rolling Stones' greatest-hits-plus set GRRR! (UMe) will likely roll out 27-30k; Aaron Lewis (Blaster/Warner Bros. Nashville) is looking like 18-21k; and Madison Gate's Pentatonix will clear 10-15k.

Speaking of things going in stockings, 26 CIA operatives will spend the next two weeks reading steamy e-mails from craggy, middle-aged generals. They will spend the subsequent two weeks curled up in a fetal position, whimpering softly.

i thought it would do 100k+:stylin:

What's Weeknd's label situation?

Is XO independent with a distribution deal from Republic or is he on a major? What's he eating off this?

He was independent but now he's signed with Universal Republic
