Between the 13" Pro or Air, I'd probably lean towards the Pro, if only because you can upgrade the storage yourself easily whenever you want and I hate how washed out looking the Air's screen is in comparison.

Get the Air. Don't eve look at the 13 inch Pro until the Retina comes out. If you need a 13 inch with an optical drive then look at the VAIO S with the Premium trim. It has a higher resolution, optional Bluray, discrete graphics and I think it comes with Sony Vegas.
