Contrary to what some of the dweebs in this thread think, wrestling fans should be rooting for AEW to be competition to WWE. This is something the boys in the back have been looking for arguably since Dixieland Vacation Services shut their doors a decade ago. Having more leverage in contract negotiation is never a bad thing, and AEW is obviously a huge concern to Vince given they've not only upped the length of their deals but how much money the boys (and girls) are being paid than a few years ago. shyt, if there was no WCW, Scott and I would have been wrestling Doink the Clown and the Repo Man in dark matches in 1996 with Hogan squashing Sid in the Main Event, instead of revolutionizing the business and changing how the boys get paid. Guess some of these nerds dissing AEW are pining for the days of shyt product from 2006 to when I came back in 2011.
