I have a question:

is the series s a good system, I only care about higher FPS and I seen this has a boost mode and I would like a future proof system right now besides my ps5. I have a chance to cop one and besides emulators is the series s worth the purchase
If you're trying to future proof then get the X.

Way less future proof than the X.

Only really good if you somehow will never have a 4K TV.

If you really only care about fps then you are fine. But it's a much safer bet to wait on the series x imo.

However if you just want a all digital box that, has a SSD, plus boost to fps and things then the s really will do you fine.

However in two years depending you might be looking for a series x again depending on your tv situation

I appreciate the feedback

I want to emulate it anyway plus get back on Xbox, the 360 is one of my favorites. I already got a 4K tv but like I said all I care about is the frames and I’m fine with 60. I’ll most likely double dip and get a series x in a year or so and give my son the s

Right now my little brother has a ps5, a GTX 1660ti and a series s and the series s probably gets the most gaming attention from him out of all 3....a combination of backwards compatibility, FPS boost and proper next gen optimization on ongoing games is really doing the console well right now

The fact MS has been so quiet for so long makes me hope they have a lot of groundbreaking things to show
I was excited last summer too but they dropped the ball with Craig
They obviously learned their lesson and realize it's time to show some must have games for the rest of 2021 and beyond

Probably better to lower your expectations.
