The fine print at the bottom says it’s the console AND the game together and there’s the “any difference between stated value and actual value won’t be awarded” so idk if $600 is the actual price

$599 may well be the price, hence the reason for the Series S to act as a lower priced entry into next gen, maybe at $399.
At $499 for the X there is no reason to introduce the S at this point, they could drop the S next year comfortably and just focus on the high end next gen experience. Although the S hasn't been announced yet, it's likely to be revealed shortly. Also, at $499 for the X there's no reason to have waited so long for to reveal the price. The value cannot be disputed at $499 but $599 is a tough pill for a lot of people to swallow.

I think we should brace for $599 for both the Series X and PS5 and be pleasantly surprised if they are $499

Don’t even need an Xbox to play Xbox


I think a lot of people underestimate how big this can be. The overall player base is gonna be HUGE and even players who own other consoles and no Xbox can still play Games with their friends that do. Xbox gonna be the best place for multiplayer games and the best budget option for those who cant afford a new console, which is gonna prove extremely potent in a pandemic where people are short on money and don’t have shyt to do

shyt is piff. Been playing games id never try all weekend right on my S9. You wont be playing any thats latency intensive like fighters on online shooters but for single player cinematic or rpgs this shyt is a game changer.

Xbox users are about to get a useful new feature


Recently, we saw evidence that Microsoft is gearing up to lift this restriction on Xbox Live, allowing you to have multiple points of presence across different devices and platforms.

You'll still only be able to launch games on one device at a time using your account, but this new system means that you'll be able to play the best Xbox One games via cloud streaming on your phone, without being signed out of your consoles. This means you'll be able to continue using streaming apps and services like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, or Microsoft's own Movies & TV on the same account, while using Project xCloud on your phone.

It's a relatively minor tweak to the system, but lifting the restriction adds a whole lot of additional usability to Project xCloud, especially in households where battles over the TV are commonplace. This feature is currently undergoing some internal testing, and will likely be rolled out ahead of Project xCloud's September 13 launch date, which comes bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and should feature "over 100" games.

Nah they gotta let Asobo work that on their own schedule. Rushing Flight Simulator to the XSX launch will have them putting out subpar work.
