Between evolution and the shield as well as the new brock lesnar type of wrestlers with all brawn and no personality like bobby lashey and rhyno. I can see why the undertaker couldnt retire and why the rock and even triple h who was himself responsible for the fall off as well since hes one of the execs of the wwe had to keep making reappearances. This is necessary.

I also like how they developed the womens wrestling. They need to keep on working it. I hope they do an attitude era and make those heels entertaining heels too. I notice that when it comes to aggressive female characters and aggressive male characters like a stone cold or a rock, the aggressive female characters lack a personality. Like you really cant see yourself in them- personality wise speaking. They are often bland or scared to just tell it how it is. Im used to the nyc timberland women/jersey girl personalities. Women who arent too feminine where they wont roll up their sleeves and punch you in the face if you say something slick or will go off on you. That type of energy. A mary j blige or a jaguar wright for example. They fukked up with how they handled cm punk so they have to do this and they better not fukk it up too.

Maybe MMA took a big part of their audience. UFC borrowed the over the top walk out intros, announcers going crazy, charismatic personalities, along with real fighting. I used to be really into WWF when I was a kid but prefer to watch MMA now.

I dont know how yall can still watch that as an adult. And this is coming from someone who was the biggest wrestling fan in the world for a couple years straight. Nobody knew more about the shyt than me. But now, I just can't do it. Every couple of years, I will tune in to see what's going on, and 10 seconds later, I'm turning the channel to something else. That shyt just doesn't interest me anymore, which is suprising cuz I thought I was going to be a damn wrestler when I grew up lol thats how much I loved it. I guess it was just a phase for me. Arguably had the best NBA era from the Bulls to the Lake Show. Throw in Chappelle show and a golden era of hip hop.

I had a great childhood. Lakers in the evening, Raw at night, No Mercy on the N64 into the early morning with DMX playing in the background.

People knew of wrestling being fake or scripted since the expose in 1984 on 20/20, before a lot of you guys were even born lol...I remember my parents telling me that they stopped watching after they knew about this around 1988 or so. People still kept watching.
