Life is absurd. Lean into it.
That's pretty rough. Always thought The Pedigree and The Tombstone was inches away from tragedy.
Looking back I probably almost had my little brothers paralyzed from neck down trying half this shytSome of this stuff is wild af when you go back and look from an adults' perspective. We used to practice moves like this on each other as kids![]()
No the hell it isnt. A ddt youre head never is supposed to touch the ground.Look way safer to pull off than a DDT or stunner. You can control the fall with this. looks like it’s all shoulder in contact. They pull it off well.
Back in the 80s established wrestlers were basically allowed to do whatever they wanted to no-name wrestlers, aka jobbers or enhancement talent as they're known today. A lot of established wrestlers took advantage of that by performing their moves as violently as possible on jobbers to "put their moves over" or make their moves look more impactful to the fans.
For example compare Yokozuna's banzai drop against a jobber to his banzai drop against Hulk Hogan
The Road Warriors would have jobbers fukked up before their theme music stops. The Road Warriors and Steiner Brothers especially used to be handing out CTE chains like candy
RIP to Owen, and from what I remember Steve Austin's neck never fully recovered.Ain't nothing as scary as watching someone's neck during a piledriver. I cringed every time I watched when I was younger
