I would say a lot of WCW and ECW dudes made it pre Invasion angle........ but the shyt that happened afterwards killed some, elevated others. Yet it's amazing how none are left in the E now who didn't cross prior to both companies tanking.

RVD was one guy they let do his thing character-wise, peep the crowd. Why couldn't they leave DDP's character alone like that.

I remember how awesome RVD was in ECW and I was hoping the E didn't shyt on his skills. RVD then is what Cesaro is right now. DDP was awesome in WCW but he made the mistake of making the jump too early in the invasion angle. He was a homegrown WCW top talent that came up proper.......burial was inevitable in the WWE :to: Still i give dude props for being an optimist about just wrestling at one Wrestlemania.

is this a "never been in the e at all" or a "he was good without the e" thread?

DDP didn't do shyt for his career coming to the e

Michael PS Hayes and The Freebirds have their place in wrestling history without any real WWF influence.

Nick Bockwinkel is a good one too.
