Portugal getting their shyt pushed in next round.

Harsh result for Morocco fukk man

Their opponent will be either Russia or Uruguay. I don't think either one of them are good enough to beat Portugal. Even if Portugal doesn't play well. All it takes is one play by the man...the legend...and Portugal will move to the last 8 :wow:

When never claimed to have a world class/top of the top player when we haven't. :yeshrug:

You've been in here talking shyt about my super eagles and your team is DRC? The team that should have qualified but threw away their 2-0 lead against Tunisia in the second half? I watched that game.

You can't talk anymore shyt about any CAF team of that's your squad :umad:

Nah, America is trash from a technical standpoint. Overemphasis on "hustle" and "athleticism" which is all good until you realize these clowns couldnt pass or finish for shyt.

There's really 3 major issues with American Soccer.

1. Half the Country is Priced Out: Only America could find a way to make the world's cheapest sport somehow one of the most expensive to participate in. Most kids cant afford travel leagues, pay in for neighborhood leagues etc. Your talent pool shrinks exponentially when poor kids can't play the sport. Race has a LARGE part to play here as well.

2. College Sports destroy the youth talent we DO have: Everyone in the major leagues of soccer start playing at academies and clubs from the time their like 10 years old. And some, even get first team experience by the time they are 17 or 18. At that age, we are pushing kids into the college system which just adds miles to their bodies, they don't get paid and most don't finish school (if sports are their goal). The loan system helps young talent get first team experience in lower tiers and they can start maturing as players.

3. Marketing: The sport simply wasn't made to look cool until the late 90's early 2000's with the Nike "Jogo Bonito" and "Take it to the next level" campaigns. Basketball's rise in the past 25-30 years can be directly attributed to mass media and marketing. Literally without Nike/Gatorade and others the NBA is a third tier league behind baseball and football.

This is a good explanation. Good look

I never said my team was A1.

And my team losing and taking a L does not change the fact that Nigeria took a L as well. :yeshrug:

This is the World Cup, if you team is playing bad, people gonna talk shyt about it. :yeshrug:
