:mjgrin: heavy trolling, but I suspect England NT will have a lot more African in the near future. Tons of African names in the junior squads. Also wasn’t long ago when France had more Caribbean’s than Africans on the NT ( 2006 - Gallas, Abidal, Thuram, Malouda, Saha, Wiltord) Even this team will have more Caribbean’s in the future ( Coman, Martial, Lemar, Laca :skip:)

In the end the two countries black demographics are quite similar.

Way too early but it seems like France and Belgium will be early favourites for 2020 Euros.

They'll have most of their squad from this WC plus a few new young lads. No one crucial that would be retiring from the game.

It'll be interesting to see what Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Germany can muster as they'll all be a rebuilding phase.
