He's exactly what we need at the moment, somebody who's gonna harass the defense and who's gonna make runs in a deep defense. Too much dribblers up front with Fékir and Mbappé. Need some runners to open channels.

And Mbappé needs to stop with his useless roulettes :fuming:

I personally think the tactics need to shift. Start Matuidi/Kante as the holding CMs and let Pogba push up as an 8. Dembele needs to keep his ass out on the wing and take more players on one on one. Mbappe needs to be finishing not dribbling.
Dechamps is tactically remedial though. He needs to change up or end up relying on athleticism too much and get ate alive by the likes of Germany or Spain.

Portugal have a far better GK, much better defenders & better midfielders. Argentina only have better strikers. That's it.

Both back lines are trash and the midfield is a push. CR7 literally took the game into his own hands (and one howler from De Gea), without him they would have been thrashed by a vastly superior Spain. You'd know that if you actually watch the match and not just ESPN highlights.
