Score aside, it was a really good game in general. Started hot from the jump

Yeah it was. Germany came out pressing really hard. All the U.S. had to do was withstand that and their speed would wear them down in the second half, which is exactly what happened. Also, offensively, Germany wasn't in sync while the U.S. offense finally clicked together. Our defense, once again, absolutely impeccable. And now with the offense finally going in the right direction, the U.S. without question can win the World Cup.

Well, there hasn't been a real reason to use her yet. Better believe, she will play against Germany since she sat out the China game so she's 100% ready to go. You want to try to keep your best players from playing so many minutes as you want to save them for the later rounds if possible.

They played really well but I cant help but feel that this team tries to choke away big games.

It seems that way. The past few games, they were still trying to find their offense. Everything finally clicked this game. I think the U.S. are growing confident with each and every game so right now, they are at peak level. As long as their defense continues to hold, they will win this World Cup.
