The Wolverine (2013) - Full-Length Trailer

it's a stand alone movie and i'll take it like that. while i'm not too thrilled about it, it does seem interesting as it's own little story. i'm just wondering if it has room for development or is it a one movie type of story?

Well, it's in the same timeline as the other movies, it takes place at some point a fair amount of time in the future after the third X-men movie. The X-men are already disbanded/deceased/retired at this point and Wolverine (who doesn't age) is back by himself again.

why do they keep taking wolverine out of the xmen setting? and where the hell is the magneto origin film?

Magneto is a great character but really...an orgin film for Magneto? His story can be told in flashbacks if you want to be real about it.

They need a new actor to play Wolverine because this one sucks/ran his course.

Wolverine doesn't deserve its own movie based on how they portray him in the movies. I get he's a popular character but it doesn't translate well on the screen, especially in a stand alone movie. I would rather see a Magnito movie. Huge Jackman brings nothing to the role. No swag, no nothing. He let Liev Schreiber outshine him in the last Wolverine movie.

I think this is a pure money grab with this flick though.

Did we watch the same movies

Logan was the main character in those movies especially the 1st and 3rd flicks

Of course he deserves his own solo movie

word first class pretty much summed up mag's origin for me, he was in the holocaust then years later became a bad ass no more no less, first class made Lensher look like sean connery in his first james bond appearance
