Someone datamined (looked through the game's code) the game and found references to things not found in the main game. Which means they were added to prepare for the DLC.

The DLC is set during the Aegis War (remember, the flash back when all the original Blades knew each other, before the main game) and you play as Addam, Mythra, Brighid, Minoth, Lora, etc.

Ok I beat it finally....the writing in this game is 2nd to none

They made me feel bad for Olgierd von Everec but I let G.O.D. Do his thing at the end

Got that unlimited food

Now onto to Toussaint ... it's so bright and beautiful here.....need this after that dark and scary house with the memories

You should have a potion in your inventory that takes away level restrictions. They added that when they changed the armor level.

They changed a lot of the equipment levels to "rebalance" the game. So in order to make sure they didn't lock you out of gear you already had they added a potion called Wolven Hour that let you use gear a couple levels above you. It only lasted an hour, the point was for you to try and level up into the gear you already had.

As far as I know they removed it from the game because people were misusing it somehow.

Basically yeah. Well, that universe's version of Satan.

Side note, he pops up in damn near every scene in "Hearts Of Stone". He's always in the back ground watching Geralt.



There's also a reference to him in "Blood And Wine".

"Hearts Of Stone" dropped around Halloween so it was kinda like a horror story.

"Blood And Wine" has a lot more humor but things get pretty dark, especially towards the end of the game if you make the wrong decisions.

Some of the side quests are straight up comedy though. And it wraps up the game real nice....which is why I said play it last. It feels like the end of the series.
