The Wire vs Snowfall vs The Chi vs power

I wanna see if they're worth watching. How do they compare to the wire

Snowfall is hands down the best show on TV at the moment. The Wire is worth checking out but it has aged, do to the tech being used. Never seen the Chi, but I haven't heard anyone say anything about it at all. might wanna change your third option to Power. Never seen an ep of Power but seen some old black ladies talking about it.

The Wire is the best television show of all time IMO.

I watched an episode of Power it was so over the top I thought it was a parody

Damn Zay, its a lot of shows that can probably claim that title from Martin to Living Single to Breaking Bad...I will say it was casted well tho. I just think the wire is something you would have like better if you watched it AT THE TIME it came out. not that its aged poorly but it really is kind of a period piece

Damn Zay, its a lot of shows that can probably claim that title from Martin to Living Single to Breaking Bad...I will say it was casted well tho. I just think the wire is something you would have like better if you watched it AT THE TIME it came out. not that its aged poorly but it really is kind of a period piece

I mean the season finale was yesterday so snowfall . Not as many characters as the wire but a great story.

The political aspect of the Wire was what made it a 2 headed monster to me. and scenes that show the inner workings of city and state level agencies are absent in the other 2 shows.

Snowfall is set in the 80s and mostly shows the struggles of one main character and those close to him. its worth watching.

..the Chi, not as much imo. It's more of a 'crash' type deal that shows several individuals' life struggles and grievances who eventually cross paths..it's not bad.

nikkas was rocking beepers and using payphones? it's set during a certain period right. Period piece doesn't mean antebellum south.

I was at a friends house they had The Chi on it was my first time viewing it. It reminded me of Lincoln heights tbh. Didn't see anything special about it
