shyt is the movie I saw that finally hooked me on the mcu, one of the best superheros movies of all time. I just rewatched it and it still holds up 7 years later.

Incredible action, plot and acting. shyt was a tour de force and heights marvel didn't reach again until infinity wars with Thanos.

Great movie, it's in the MCU top 5 cant put it ahead
Avengers 3,4,dr.strange, black panther
It the least flawed MCU movie for sure. Its just made so blandly. Still top 5, maybe even top 3.

That was the best story done by the Russos, and they still had the John Wick guys shooting the action for him. However, even though I dont think their later movies are "better" I do think they became better directors after Winter Soldier. Far more visually interesting with Infinity War and Endgame. However, again Winter Soldier probably has the least flaws of any MCU film.

Whole winter soldier movie was LIT asf...:wow::wow::wow: cap & co. was putting in work!!!:banderas: even in the comics the storyline itself was one of the best...
I think it was actually the winter soldier storyline that reinvigorated the Captain America comics. I cant really remember much of anything before that (the new deal?) I loved that teams work on daredevil also

How about this: The Russo's took the MCU from good to great, and if they aren't heavily involved with the next two phases, specifically with mutants/x-men, the MCU will suffer.

The storylines came alive on a different level with the Russo's because they weren't just trying to do comic panel to screen adaptation. I mean that was important to establish early on in the MCU, but they began injecting real current events and viewpoints that took it beyond what they did with the first Avengers films.

And with X-men, being able to translate relevant social issues is going to be paramount to integrating them into a world where superhero's are largely beloved and barely have use for secret identity. They need the same roll out that the Avengers got except the Russo's should be at the helm from jump.

The fighting choreography was at it's best in the Winter Soldier. The jokes didn't seem forced either, which is one of my Marvel movie pet peeves. The score to the film was great and memorable.

Maybe it's just me, but it feels like they haven't made Bucky seem as strong as he should be in the other films.
Oh and Troubleman :wow:

it’s no coincidence that all 4 of their Marvel movies are in my top 5

1. Civil War
2. Winter Soldier
3. Infinity War
4. End Game
5. Iron Man

TWS is still the only marvel movie that contends with TDK IMO.

Avengers 3 and 4 are achievements no doubt, but the entire MCU run was built for the finale which was Avengers 3 & 4 so it's an apples to oranges at best and thus disqualified.
