Said this in a different thread but it is funny that so many people are in the know as to what happens when they proudly admit that they don't deal with colleagues outside of work.
It doesn't matter what profession you work in, people are people. Unless you're disliked, people are not going to push for you to get fired.
Just look at Parliament. Traces of cocaine was found in the building. Many of the MPs flaunted the lockdown rules.
The notion that people in prestigious jobs are on their best behaviour is wrong. They're not. When people step out of line, the tendency is to try and resolve things inhouse.
This is known, but it isn't something the lynch mob you're apart is willing to consider.
