This is why I think there needs to be a sit down between all parties (though I'm fine with excluding Jada since she is evil) to quell shyt. Moreover, it'll help them sort out any issues that are at play here. Rock can get off his emotions and tell Will how he really feels and Will can make it up to him in some manner.

I feel Will was definitely wrong for the slap. What I don’t like is how they’re pitting Will and Chris against each other. Will is now this evil man and Chris is the good guy. Even after they initially tried to paint Jada as the victim in it all (because you know how they like to pander to black women while simultaneously not giving a fukk about black women either), now they’re released an angle showing her laugh at Will slapping Chris. So now after that, they’re dragging her down too after that fake praise they gave her. Media loves this black on black drama, and I’m not cool with it.

I don’t blame Chris if he doesn’t want to talk to Will right now, but I’m hoping they can hash it out to show how black men can resolve their issues. If Chris Rock is able to move on from it, all of these other people’s opinions don’t mean shyt.

Sometimes we have to call it like it is. Will is certainly not evil and Chris some saint, but it's clear as day who was wrong in this situation. Will is not about to get cancelled. There's damn building-sized murals of the man in Philly. Even if that was the push (which it doesn't appear to be), we wouldn't let that happen. But he deserves every bit of the ridicule and to receive some sort of punishment. Otherwise what message is that sending about that happening to Chris?

I’m not saying Will doesn’t deserve any backlash, but it’s kinda overboard. You have people saying they were “traumatized” by it. Some saying it was the WORST moment in the history of the Oscars. I don’t underestimate white people cancelling him. They will dispose of us in a heartbeat. Will was probably the safest prominent black dude in Hollywood, and they dropped him like that. I just hate when black people go along with it. At the end of the day, these white people follow our lead, whether they admit it or not. That’s why they always get a black person to say something first, so that when they go on the attack, it doesn’t come off as being racist. It’s like that one poster said earlier. Black people can admit someone is wrong, but handle it like a family and move on. It’s the white people who want to see him destroyed and stepped on forever.
