And it wasn't even in the script, which makes all of this seem very suspect. If there is a script that even the people attending are aware of, that adds a whole other dimension to this shyt. I wonder if we will ever find out.

A good joke doesn't have to be insightful and, unless you have committed something to memory, it is a bit difficult to come up with example you're asking for on the spot.

Bring the Pain to Never Scared were classics in my opinion. I think the problem with comedy though is they are hugely affected by time.

Demographics change, politicians change as do social events that we're all aware of. Certain things will age (Black people vs Ns) and certain topics don't connect to the time (leaving porn in the VCR, Bush jokes etc.)

I watched the video on mute to see if the sad song was playing on my emotions but damn I felt bad for Rock in that clip. Dude looked there but not there.

Who listens to Specials this way? His last taped special Tamborine which I asked if you were "One of those Rock's Special wasn't funny " guys and that I enjoyed myself. was just that an observation/ question. Which you did not answer but replied with a question.

Tamborine was from what I remember over 3 or 4 years ago. I don't commit entire specials to memory but from what I remember I like the joke about him trying to holler at Rihanna. It's kinda lame to recite the joke imo but I guess it was funny, maybe not the most profound insightful thing of all time but it's funny how when someone get older they are in denial and still try to pull chicks that are younger but actually look at them as old. Vice versa for older women too
