I did post that video many times in threads. I was upset and disappointed at Chris Rock in that video. But that video has nothing to do with Will Smith slapped him and that don't make him right to slap another black man in front of millions at the Oscar.

Me and my dad been talking about it and I think one of the things that's always going to mess him up is that he let @Another Man hoe him out in front of the entire world.
I said how I feel about him and the dumb joke he told but, the flip side is...

As a man, I know that's messing with his pride. I'd be depressed knowing that the world watched me take that big an L and I just stood there and did nothing.
I know he's being praised for "keeping his composure"... but dude really should have stole on Will. Cause getting praised for keeping your composure aint doing nothing for you when you're sitting alone and that memory creeps up on you and then you gotta wonder why you didn't do anything. You gotta wonder what it is about you that made you take that and do nothing. You gotta wonder if maybe you aint as G as you thought you was
That happened to me as a lil boy once. I was like 8 and this 12 year old hit me and I didn't go at him like I should have. As a little boy that messed with my pride and was actually the turning point in my life where I said I was NEVER gon let that happen again.
I remember being in the tub that night replaying the incident over and over in my head thinking "I should have said this or said that or did this or did that".
That was me as a jit. I can only imagine how its playing on the mental of a grown man.
Danggit. I hate this whole situation.

If anything this incident exposes wills inner thoughts. His beliefs. He really thought nothing of that man. A grown man. A grown black man.

what's most alarming to me is the number of Black people that thought this shyt would just blow over after an apology.
We don't agree on a lot of things. But you and I have been on the same wavelength on this. I don't think folks understand how the oscars are shown all around the world. This one of the few shows that was shown in China (I remember it being on there when I use to work there before covid).
I watch international news and they been talking about this shyt in the news in Britain, Germany and all over in Europe and in Australia.
Thats just a American point of view to think this shyt would blow over when this shyt is shown to 2 to 3 billion people all over the world. And the fact that basically Hollywood is an arm of the united states used to push our culture and products down the rest of the worlds throats for them to consume and put money in corporations pockets.
