1. Alopecia is not that fukking serious. Every black person who ever had braids for an extended period of time has some form of it. Hell, anybody who ever had a ponytail tied too tight has some form of it.
2. Jada Pinkett is not a private citizen and is not off limits to jokes. If Chris had said something about Denzel or Samuel L.'s wives he would have deserved every bit of that slap and more.
3. There will no major fallout from the Academy beyond some fake outrage and handwringing over 'decorum.' The Oscars haven't been relevant in years, and they will bask in any bit of publicity they get. Would anybody honestly still be talking about this year's awards if not for this?
4. I sincerely doubt Will Smith will be getting blackballed and if anything he'll get a career resurgence because he can finally stop Oscar chasing now.
