My only worry is that the Hollywood gatekeepers, studios, producers, and actors might not want to f*ck with him -at least as of right now- cause he soiled their precious Oscar night which is Hollywood's Christmas. If they don't take it personal in the long run he should be alright in a few months. He's also not really making big blockbuster hits anymore and him and Jada have been on a downward spiral for the past two years or so. Honestly I can see Hollywood feel that they might not need Will anymore. Low key that Jada and Will sitdown on her show might be disastrous and make shyt ten times worse. If Will is on there crying his ass off and Jada is sitting there with a smug villainous look on her face like he's her pet dog then they might be out of the game. They better be careful and tread lightly

I don’t think his career willnbe the same. There are many young black actors in Hollywood that can “do a Will” in a movie. I’m sorry to say but he embarrassed himself in front of the same people who gave him a seat at the table. I don’t think his apology will allow him back at the table any time soon. He might as well make some hood movies since the black community is always forgiving, or go with a mental health angle and say he was having a breakdown which I believe he was and his wife instigated it, because those were the actions of a man who was already on the ledge.

Who said Will wasn’t at the mercy of Hollywood execs? I said that Will didn’t owe anyone who gave him an opportunity early in his career anything because he’s already paid them back with his resounding success as well as his subsequent efforts to give back and in turn afford opportunities to other black directors, actors, and producers.


Will Smith apologized to exactly who he SHOULD have apologized to. Nobody else deserves shyt and again, if This ONE instance of bar behavior is going to be an excuse to affect the awards opportunities for other black actors then that is simply an excuse by the Academy to further perpetuate racism and should be called out.


Questlove can be mad if he wants, Questlove didn’t have his wife insulted. Will Smith’s actions, for better or worse, wrong or right, had nothing to do with Quest.

All of this “such and such” was embarrassed and offended is a lot of much ado about nothing. Like I said the only people who have a right to be really mad with Will are Chris Rock and Will Packer. Everybody else is really irrelevant as they weren’t the ones who were insulted.
