Look I don't know how true any of what I read was true. But I know one thing people in power and especially folks in hollywood hold grudges for a long long long time. Hell Monique even said how she was blackballed because she didn't thank certain people at the oscars.
I don't put it past any of them hollywood big wigs especially execs holding a grudge against Will. For all we know some of them execs might even have grudges against Will for years and have been waiting for the right time...I hope that is not the case. But man all this shyt could have been avoided.
Here’s the most important detail that people are overlooking. He didn’t just fukk up the moment for the people that won those awards he also fukked it up for everyone else including the execs and producers who worked on those movies as well. Don’t forget the FCC as well which ABC is going to have to cut a check to in fines for the cursing that he did. You cannot curse on TV like that and those networks could care less of why you did it.
They are not going to forget that situation and how his antics took away from what was supposed to be a big night for a lot of people. As I will say once again, it’s fine for Will to do what he did. That just wasn’t the time or not.
Also a valuable lesson to all the folks out there...especially when you are black. The media will make money off of you on the way up and make the money off of you on the way down when it comes to your career.
Ask Vick, Kobe, OJ, Tiger, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Bill Cosby and etc. This is something that many black entertainers forget and think it can't happen to them when they just don't know that vultures (media) are always waiting to eat in your career.
They forget when it comes to vultures eating animals they eat baby animals, they eat wounded animals and they eat the elderly animals. So at any stage of life they will eat you.....NEVER EVER EVER FORGET THAT!!

Chris Rock did the right thing as it would been bad optics if he retaliated and they got into a fight on live national television. If anything, he comes off looking better from the situation than Will does.

They just dont want their immunity to responsibility/consequences revoked based on their legendary status.

Yep and the fact they are broadcasted around the world. Folks forget that hollywood is basically an arm of the government and multi-national corporations to pump out images and products to the rest of the world. So just looking at the surface if this is Fake or Not a lot of big wigs and big time movers can't be really happy about this post the blow back. Which is why they trying to make Will bend that knee.
