Even other comedians and famous folks said they didn't know she had Alopecia. But from what I read online some of the black folks attached to the film industry (not actors) are pissed at Will. They fill like he messed it up for potential black actors who will come behind him and those who were before him. Basically they feel like his ignorance was a slap in the face of the black folks who opened doors for him especially off the fact the fool ain't a trained actor and many elders kicked doors open for him cause hollywood didn't want to fukk with him cause he was a rapper.

Will didn’t fukk up anything for black actors and any attempt to undermine or bar black actors from attending or winning awards is simply an excuse from a historically racist Academy. Never EVER forget that Roman Polanski pled GUILTY to raping a minor. HE RAPED A CHILD and fled to Paris and was given not only an Oscar, but a signed petition by many in Hollywood to have him be able to return to accept the Oscar in person.


Also Will Smith, over the course of THIRTY YEARS has built his own brand into the biggest global movie star thats ever lived. Whoever “stuck their necks out” for him has had their faith re-payed a million times over as Will Smith is the ONLY actor in history to have 8 straight films gross over $100 Million at the domestic box office. Will Smith has also utilized his power and influence to get funding and production for many film and television projects starring, produced by, and directed by Black talent. Check the Overbrook Entertainment credits. He also payed the (majority black) cast of King Richard out of his OWN POCKET after Aunjanue Ellis complained about being lowballed. Will Smith has done his fair share of looking out.


Will Smith isn’t some newcomer who was being groomed for stardom and was taken under the wing of the black upperclass. Will Smith is an industry vet who took his opportunity and maximized it to it’s FULLEST potential.


The only people who have any right to be mad at Will Smith are Chris Rock and Will Packer. And in Chris Rock’s case the joke WAS tasteless and completely unnecessary within both the context of the ceremony and Jada’s involvement

Rock has been clowning people in public for what 30 years now and this is the joke that gets him slapped[/B]? Will could have just handled it verbally and it wouldn't have been as much uproar as it was. And initially I was all for him defending his wife (though he should have defended her against Double A first) but after knowing that he was laughing to I feel he just did what he did so she wouldn't tear into his ass later and thinking that the media would see him as the conquering hero. The shyt wasn't staged at all but Will did know that it would be consequences when he was walking towards him. He just didn't think it would be as negative as they were. But all in all this was publicity for them and the Oscars who will have huge ratings next year with people expecting fukkery and probably end up with the usual snooze fest.

This is my biggest issue with it
