Difference is Rock is a Comedian. And he definitely would say shyt about them and their wives if something major happened. He's said worse about people that would put hands on him. That's his job to bring shock. If you that sensitive you shouldn't attend. The joke wasn't that serious.

Comedians can cross the line just like anybody else.

Being punched in the mouth is an occupational hazard for comedians. All of them know this, this isn't new. We've had videos posted on the coli over the years of comedians getting punched on stage. And in one case, I remember a comedian knocking the dude out and then continuing on with his set.

If you're gonna talk reckless about people, you should be prepared to take on whatever consequences follow. Some ppl will be cool with it. Some ppl won't.

It's that simple.

:mjtf:

You big dummy, the Oscars invited him to the show specifically because he is a comedian. Why you think Amy and Wanda were hosting?

nygga I don’t give a fukk he needs to come with better material that fits the room but his old ass is washed up and the best he can come up with is attacking a frail old black woman in her 50s about alopecia calling her GI Jane :what:

this the same clown that did a whole documentary on black women’s hair

you’re boy is washed up and got emasculated on stage last night

That was a great joke. It was such a great joke that Will Smith was laughing hysterically. You just in your feelings right now for whatever reason.

And just to add on youve never seen ANYONE disrespect Denzel or his wife...regardless
I would think if any thing , if Denzel responded to some one of that sort, it wouldn't be through violence ( although I'm pretty sure he can say lay someone out, if it truly calls for it). More than likely he'll disrespect that person through a powerful, Ether-esque speech ,whether on stage or back stage, that would have call for a call to an agent requesting an early retirement or day long twitter post apologizing to the O.G..

ATL, but rasied in DMV
That white woman was insufferable :hhh:
What else would you expect from a Tiffany Haddish. Most of the tv viewers didn't even get the G.I. Jane joke. Some people still don't. How many Black people even saw the movie. I know I didn't, and don't plan on seeing a part 2, if they ever make one. If Jada smacked her swirling ass instead, for telling a bad joke on Will, which doesn't sound too far fetched just based on how she conducted this interview, she'd be singing a different tune.

I don't like Chris like that anyway - he has talked shyt about BW for far too long. And finally a Black man checked that shyt. That's how how it goes.

I was proud to see that Will is apart of a very small percentage of Black folks -- which is "we don't give AF about what white folks think."

lol @ Will laughing hysterically

More like fake laughing to go along with the show, and said fukk it , went on stage, and slapped him.

Chris Rock did nothing, which tells me it’s okay to slap him

All these women coming out of the woodwork to talk violence on their behalf is a bit disturbing. Yes we are men and in a man’s world violence can be part of the game, but you should also have a level of discernment of when to act in violence cuz sometimes ain’t no coming back from whatever repercussions come from that violence. Chris Rock didn’t deserve that for doing his job.

women are okay with “toxic masculinity “ as long as it’s in the defense of a black woman.
*And against another black man

It’s hypocritical IMO

Will could have handled that in so many better ways.
