& Chris rock better than me , that shyt woulda set me off
Whose fault is that?
It’s always going to be this way until we, are the majority. So many folks fixated on what white people think. The shyt is maddening
Why does it seem like black men are bashing Will the most over this shyt?
It’s fukking annoying.
Run up on a skinny, small, autistic Chris Rock, and all of a sudden you a bad-ass?
We live in a society with a bunch of punks masquerading as men.
Whose fault is it that Will has to hear jokes about his wife?
Right. This shyt is basically a IQ test lolIt was real.........real fake. This proves how slow some of you are.
Whose fault is it that Will has to hear jokes about his wife?
This the part folks don't seem to get. Will pulled this publicity stunt because that's how badly he wants to regain control over the narrative about himself.
In reality, him and Jada been in an open "marriage" for decades, but in Lalaland, he was the golden-boy with a storybook marriage who stayed happily married to another star for two decades (with two star children to boot). shyt ain't nothing new in the movie industry, the Hays Code was 100% in effect during the 90s and he rode the "wholesome" family entertainment image into superstardom so that's what he chose to embrace.
For whatever reason he really, really wants to be admired & worshipped by *everybody*... it's not good enough to him to just be arguably the most successful black movie star ever. His wholesome role-model image is his brand... IRL in all likelihood he does the same shyt Jada did, but what crossed the line for him was being publicly outed for being in a typical fake ass Hollywood arrangement. If he really accepted the open marriage shyt he would've just let it be known that that's what makes both of them happy. At some point he deluded himself into believing that being in a symbolic marriage made him happier than being in an actual happy marriage. In an actual happy marriage, Jada would never have let Will slap Chris on the night of potentially the highest recognition in his career.
