Will Smith, is not stepping, to ANY white comedian, to do this.
Yet he has laid hands on white people before. He did to the guy who tried to kiss him. I'll never understand you people who feel that he needs to have 10,000 bodies before he can say or do something.
This was not defending his woman. This was him being performative trying to get mad over an actual joke and trying to regulate on what he perceived as a weaker threat...and he embarrassed black people en masse.
How? Your logic makes no sense. One black guy "acted out" while another did not. Yet I'm supposed to ignore the actions of the black guy not acting out in favor for the black guy acting out. And then judge a whole people over that or at the very least be okay with a whole people, black people mind you, be judged for that. Black people are supposed to be judged more harshly for the actions of that are negative over the actions that are positive, even when they are in full display of each other simultaneously. Black people are supposed to be judged more harshly and we're supposed to be okay with this. I mean really now. Moreover, you complain about someone being performative yet you expect Will to be performative in the other direction: showing no emotion other than laughing at any joke, even those that would insult him and his family. Your logic is entirely absent and puts some undue onus on a black man to act a certain way due to some unspecified evil the black people are all carrying and must do away with performative behaviors that makes non-blacks people feel better about themselves. I mean really now. You would side with Stephen A c00n.
Edit: And I'll add another point: you claim Will would not do something like this to a white person and then condemn him for this at all, so which is it? It seems like he's damned if he do and damned if he doesn't unless he acts like a special little bootlick. I mean really now.
