I think Will should have handled that better. He didn't need to slap him. He could have Deebo'd him into apologizing right then and there. However, it probably just stung them that on their proudest moment another black person is still taking personal shots a them in front white audiences (FWIW I don't think Chris knew she had that. However, when you don't know what people are going thru....)

Breh you don't have to have everyone on the scheme. Often times wrestling and even in ad libbing acting at times only the two participants know the outcome and have rehearsed it. I don't blame folks for thinking that two actors in a hollywood awards show aren't acting out a situation on stage.
MTV awards literally are the ones in the 90s who started the whole scripted shock situations where only the two participants knew what was going to happen. So this isn't anything new....the new part is the fact a so called prestigious show in the oscars has stooped to this level for ratings. After so long saying they wouldn't stoop to the lows of the MTV music / movie awards shows (over the years) levels for ratings.

I really was only watching it because my business partner wife turned it on when our meeting was over. They were about to watch Atlanta and I was leaving when the camera and audio got wonky. Then i was still there 20mim after talking about it.
God bless you. I don't know how folks watch them dumb ass award shows without it causing brain damage. I rather watch paint dry or a toothless dog eat a bone than to watch that trash.
