Then again, why was he laughing if he felt disrespected so strongly enough to compromise his standing to react that way? The answer is HE didn’t feel it was disrespectful but his wife did. And he got embarrassed by her disappointment in him laughing (several full seconds) when she looked over. He should’ve been apologizing to his wife for laughing himself but instead he tried to save face and take it out on Chris. He got caught in a bad spot because she was like “you really gonna laugh at that shyt?” and he overreacted. That’s all there is to it.

If he never laughed and just it took it was flat out disrespectful and handled it without being underhanded then I wouldn’t care.
