Will would never assault a white man and yet he has that smoke for another black man.
We KNOW he never would.
Keep that same energy.
Will using the "mental health" and "people disrespecting you" to deflect
Never watching another movie with this nikka again
Will slapped that white boy who tried to kiss him and called him a weird ass white boy afterwards.Man stop it.
Yall LYING right now
Will Smith ain't stepping to a white man ALIVE with that smoke...cause of his bytch
Thats a lotta words.
For nothing.
Will Smith is not STEPPING ACROSS THE ROOM to slap a white comedian
This is somewhat accurate.
One of the things Will Smith spoke about in his book was how he spent much of his life trying to be the perfect movie star. Not setting boundaries, doing things for approval of fans, suppressing his own feelings for his life as a star.....only realize it was making him unhappy. At one point he met with a therapist and had to learn to start really start doing things for himself and from a place of authenticity as Will Smith the human instead of Will Smith the movie star. Saying no to fans, saying no to autographs, pictures, doing all the fun things he always wanted to do, and just operating from a place of what he always felt. So many people expect stars to be robots and I think Will go to the place of fukk it, this is how I feel and this is what I'm doing. Tonight, defending his wife and slapping Chris Rock was an extension of that and honestly I appreciated seeing that.
As a black man from Philly I'm proud of Will. Getting an Oscar for Best Actor for playing a strong black father and slapping a man for disrespecting your wife at that same award show is a top 5 moment in American History for me. Dude didn't win an Oscar for being a dirty cop or fukking a white chick, wearing a dress, no sucker shyt. Look at the films Denzel and Halle won Oscars for vs what they're capable of. He won an Oscar for being a strong black father. He moved up another notch to me.
“Michaela began to refer to my nice-guy persona as “Uncle Fluffy.” He was “the pleaser” in me, the part of me that had to smile no matter how I was feeling—doing things I didn’t want to do just to keep the peace. He wasn’t allowed to be in a bad mood or have a bad day. Uncle Fluffy hated conflict, so much so that he’d even lie to avoid it. He signed every autograph, shook every hand, kissed every baby. Fluffy was jovial, talented, smart, generous. Uncle Fluffy needed everyone to like him.”

“Michaela was trying to get me to put honesty and authenticity above my need for approval, as a means of cultivating trust in myself and becoming trustworthy to others.
In the beginning, I found myself still collapsing in the face of disapproval; it was hard to see disappointment in people’s eyes or feel their anger toward me if I refused to fulfil their desires. I was trying to learn to be true to myself and not betray myself and override my own feelings. It was excruciating trying to stop saying yes when I meant no, and to stop saying no to things that I actually wanted.”

Don’t mistake the laugh for him agreeing.. That’s a laugh of saying “this nikka here” before he went to slap him..He initially laughed at the joke, I get what you're saying. But he couldn't have approached him before the show or even after the joke was made?
They had an agreement on their marriage and both decided on that.Since when do conventional standards apply to those with weird ass relationships like those 2? Wasnt August Alsina pipin her out in Wills crib like 2 years ago
So a nikka straight fukking his wife is aight but he drew the line at a GI Jane joke
Yea made the same point before seeing your post
A lot of people overcomplicating this
