The whole Pelicans team is calling out Willie Green, but the owner wants to keep him. Please eliminate this franchise from existence.

To play devil's advocate on this, Willie Green is a bad coach :hubie:
Bro is awful. One of the worse I've ever seen as far as X"s and O's and his personality is weak so he's also not a motivator.

nikka has zero coaching skills. Spolstra has never been a great motivator, but he's always been good with the X's and O's.

As a coach, you have to at least be good at one of those. Willie is awful at both.

Sometimes the owners of teams are the reason why the team is trash, and this is the perfect representation of that.

Green gas been awful over the last 2 seasons. He didn't win a single game when trailing going into the 4th quarter for 2 whole fukking seasons. He has no offensive system, he is a weak ass man mentally and he can't motivate players, ect.

Griffin is awful also, but when an owner tries to enforce their preferences on a team, that team will never go anywhere. This nikka should not have a job right now.

Usually when multiple players start sending shots in interviews, you will be fired that same week.

These nikkas been calling dawg out for 2 seasons and he still has a job. shyt makes no sense at all.

  • David Griffin is not gonna be allowed to fire his THIRD coach in 4 years. He started this shyt.
  • Zion is never available & his injury situation is always mysterious (Griffin's move)
  • BI hasn't pan out to be a superstar (Griffin's move)
Griffin and Willie need to be fired together and they team blew up.

Willie isn't a good coach, but, this ain't his fault primarily.

First time hearing this. The stars don't like Willie Green or they don't like playing in New Orleans? Whether he's actually hurt or not, the coach is going to get a pass when Zion rarely suits up to play.

Players like playing in New Orleans.

Lebron spoke well of New Orleans when we were good.

shyt, we were one of the first teams to beat the Big 3 Heat.

The organization (The Benson family) is garbage.

Definitely. I agree on Griff also, they should definitely get rid of both.

Griff wants a weak coach he can control, that's the only reason why Willie has a head coaching job (this man will never be hired as a HEAD coach again, id bet money on that).

I've never heard a weaker man on a post game podium :scust:

There should be an evaluation system that decides if #1 picks should go to certain teams. It has obviously affected the careers of certain players and teams with unstable organizations draft position should be challengeable.

There are plenty of teams that's not major cities who were able to maintain success over long periods of time.

Look how many times OKC has been good, Portland, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, ect.

Teams like Washington and New Orleans should be able to have their draft positions challenged.

Nobody wants to see great players with terrible franchises.
NBA league can come up with all kinds of changes but it will all come down to how competent team ownership is.

Look at Chicago. They had one conference finals appearance since Mike retired. Cause Jerry Reinsdorf don't care about the team.

Pelicans have some names but they are not building a winning culture. Who are the veterans out there who won it all before? I am trying to google their rosters of past couple years and I can't see shyt.

CJ McCollum is their oldest player, who is supposed to be their veteran leadership and he had one conference finals appearance where he got swept. That franchise doesn't know about winning cause they don't have guys who ever got close to winning.

New Orleans never won shyt in NBA. They don't have a mentorship to help them out. You look at someone like Wemby...He can ask Popovich for an advice, he can make a phone call to Duncan, Manu, Parker. Ain't nobody like that in New Orleans. Willie Green never got to 2nd round as a player until he became a bench warmer lol. What does he know about winning?

the fact you lumped in Houston, Dallas and Phoenix as not major cities is CRAZY :laff:

As for Zion, if you're willing to turn into a fat fukk who can't stay healthy just because you feel a way about the coach and the city , then you don't deserve success. You were drafted to change things. If you're incapable or unwilling to do that, let the world know so they can react accordingly. Clearly Zion ain't cut out to be the kind of player you want him to be.

I'm not about to pretend New Orleans hasn't been respectable in spite of Zion hasn't been respectable since he's been there. If anything we'll never know how good they could be BECAUSE Zion's a petulant fat fukk who for whatever reason would rather be in a city that would DESTROY him daily for being who he is.
I wasn't saying they aren't major cities, just not really free agent destinations for the most part.

However, Orlando/Denver would have sounded better lol

You're only as good as your players

Basketball coaching is overrated

Luke Walton won like 20 in a row coaching the Warriors. Does that make him a good coach?

Udoka in Houston right now turning it around with youngins.

Basketball coaching maybe overrated when it comes to winning titles.

But, year after year, the Pelicans don't have an identity with the same core and coaching staff. And still can't execute in the late game.

That's a quarter of our losses each of the last few seasons.
