Mind you, I don't subscribe to gmb, and I know I'll eventually get married...but I perfectly understand those who don't want to.

He fukked up by trying to simp it up when he was already doin alot and she was still unhappy to begin with. I'm not going to diss anybody trying to save their family or whatever but once she says she's unhappy that shyt is dead. Trying to save it will only hurt one or both of yall more and make the move that you gotta make harder.

Joking aside, this whole GMB thing is really disgraceful for a self proclaimed black site. Yes, adults step our on each other and marriage can be bad, or even end at times, but this whole wave of not even trying to create a unified home for a child/children is just terrible. The streets are hard enough to survive in a well maintained, two parent home. But to be basically saying "never get married to a black woman/man" "dont trust these women/men" and then expect the children to put faith in other black people is hypocritical. Fathers living their dreams through their sons and making them do what they wanted to do wit htheir own life. Women hating their daughters for having the looks they used to have.

This is the same hate the black church gets. I'm not even religious but I understand the importance of having good moral examples in a childs environment as much as possible. **Religion aside** Men's groups, womens groups, adults interacting with each other without swearing, marriage therapy, mental health help, going on group trips with black folk, listening to stories from elders in their twilight years, working in the black community to fix the black community. These are things the black church can provide that doesnt require bowing down to imaginary figures.

Many broken homes out here man. A lot of people have never seen two Black people make marriage work.

The only one I've ever seen is my grand ma and grand daddy. She's still making it and won't even sleep or even spend time in that same room they had together. They used to fuss all the time too. And dance too. That's probably the only example of real love I have.

My ma was married most of my life too but divorced right after I left the house.

the term 'married' seems to make these people content, as if that piece of stupid paper cant be null and void in a blink of an eye or that wife can't just find another 'work hubby' tomorrow. that ring/ piece of paper prevents nothing. you think it stands for something but it stands for nothing. proof in that is half the marriages never work, you fukking clown.

humans as a whole, in my belief, werent meant to be monogamous. im a firm believer in that because the proof is in the pudding, and those that do manage to do it, probably don't have loads of options to begin with, or are content with being lazy.

A lot of married men are simps living that "happy wife, happy life " lifestyle. Not all of us are though. I encourage marriage if both parties are invested in long term love, wealth building, family and power.

Things can happen though, so I also believe in divorce but as for the institution of marriage, Im all for it.

This. My Cuz came down here last summer. He had just had a baby. We was just kicking it on some regular shyt, going out, smoking, having fun. But nothing crazy at all. I was telling him that this bachelor life be getting old. That nikka was like

So, to be honestly married in this society you have to be malleable to the point that you got to cater to your woman's every needs and wants to make sure she doesn't flip and shyt on you.
